Things just keep snowballing over at USC. Backup QB and uber-recruit Mark Sanchez was arrested yesterday after an alleged sexual assualt earlier in the day. He has been suspended from the team and faces a $200,000 bond. The redshirt freshman had been practicing with the first team all spring due to the injury to starter John David Booty. On a side note, does anyone else see the irony that USC has two quarterbacks - Booty and Sanchez? I’m just saying.
To top this off, there was a thread going on a USC board last night talking about how Slippery Pete will get him off because USC has alumni in the D.A.’s office. How unethical is that crap? Those people are scum.
Between this, the Reggie Bush scandal, and everything else, I think it’s high time for the Trojans to step down as college football’s elite program. They’re quickly turning into a conglomerate of OSU and Miami, two of my other most hated programs. I think Charlie can take it from here, and do it without a bunch of thugs getting arrested every semester.
