…since I posted here, partly due to my self-imposed ban on talking about football. Now that I look at it, it’s been almost a month since I wrote anything here! Truth be told, most of my thoughts go directly to Twitter, and consequently, Facebook. As it turns out, most of my thoughts are simple, lacking profundity, and can be summed up in 140 characters or less. Here are a few highlights during the past 3 weeks or so since I’ve blogged:
- Watching MSU/Pitt while the wife mows the lawn
- The Indians just clinched the AL Central. Huzzah!
- Twitter can now update your Facebook status automatically. Sweet! http://tinyurl.com/22n4p9
- My thoughts exactly: http://tinyurl.com/yrblku
- Setting up the new track feature on my Twitter account http://tinyurl.com/2a4ggh
- Hafner homers! (following on Gamecast while watching Grey’s Anatomy w/ the wife)
- I love the fact that ARod sucks in October
- Was hoping for an ND win and for the Indians to close out the series vs. Yankees this weekend. Turns out the more unlikely thing happened.
- Yankees lose…ahhhhhhhhh…Yaaaankees lose!
-
Good Bye Lenin is the second German movie I’ve watched in the past two weeks (The Lives of Others, the other)
One thing I want to emphasize is Twitter’s new “track” feature. It’s sweet. When I’m watching the Indians game, I can just IM Twitter “Track Indians” and “Track Yankees”, and then every tweet that someone posts containing the words Yankees or Indians comes right through to me. It’s like watching the game with dozens of other people. Lots of fun.
That’s all for now, kids. Take care!

Yea man, and the sound quality is pretty decent. Go download it: http://www.archive.org/details/guster2000-11-03.shnf
You just FTP into it, pretty easy. Then I use dbPoweramp (free) to convert the SHN files to MP3. Nice.
